Charity ride help!

Hiya, I'd like to do a few charity rides this year. The only problem is that most of them seem to be for the benefit of charities who still test on animals.

Could anyone give me a list of ones that are non-human and human animal friendly?

Welcome from a former fellow Codhead! (hence my terrible forum name)

There are plenty of other rides in north Lincs (audax from Brigg, Scunthorpe and in the Wolds for example), why not just enter one of these and raise sponsorship yourself? I notice thre's a new 250km event in Scunthorpe this year that's bound to get sponsorship money coming in...

Yeah, there is a 100km ride in the Wolds later in the year. I'm in Louth at the moment.

Also planning on doing one that's raising money for St Andrews Hospice.

Animal Aid actually sent me a handy little fold out with who do and who don't the other day, they are doing a campaign.

Are there charity rides you can pick your own charity to support? The big local ones around here are by BHF or cancer charities which aren't friendly.
If I could support anyone it would be Dr Hadwen Trust.

The less prominent charities may run small scale events that don't reach the cycling press/event listings. For example, in Shropshire where I am the Severn Hospice organises several bike-related events itself in conjunction with a local bike shop.
