Every bike rider should have a love affair with fixed at some point in their lives !
I eat to nourish my compassion, not my greed

I'm the man they couldn't kill ! I cannot be destroyed with conventional weapons !

And probably the former fastest British Vegan 10, 25 and 50 mile TT rider. Probably.

[quote="JohnBarleycorn"]I've been riding, and racing, on fixed since about 1987, and I'm not very good at skidding. It just wears your tyres out, and I think its generally a hipster thing !

If you ride fixed well, you won't need to skid !

agreed, you dont need to skid by anymeans like these kids do in videos.

I've been building up my bike for a while now. This is what is currently looks like (minus the trailer attachment and the addition of some more lights).

"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

Cool stuff! Has work been permitting you much time to go on any extended rides in this nice weather we've been having? I hope so! :)
