Post them here.

Here are some of mine:
take some camping trips and hopefully longer tours on my new bike
continue to be car free over the summer and at grad school
use my trailer plenty
put at least 500 miles on fixed gear

I would put something about increasing average speed, but the other day I changed my tires from Armadillos to some 25c racexlites and seemed to have magically increased my speed. Maybe it was the 800 grams or so off my wheelset.

I only did one race last year and finished 90th out of 336, so this year I would like to do more races, aiming for a finish in the top quarter.
Do some more long distance out and back rides from home rather than always riding round and round the same bit of forest.
Get up earlier in the mornings so I can go for a ride before I do anything else.
Ride over the Severn Bridge. There's a foot/cycle path alongside the motorway over the bridge. I've often looked at it and thought it would make a great short trip on the bike. One day, when it's not too windy, I'll park in Chepstow and ride across and back.

1) Do a couple of road races.
2) Ride the long way home as the norm rather than exception.
3) If I can't win, I want to make the buggers earn their win. Seeing them in pain is very satisfying.
4) Introduce more people to mountain biking. (I got 2 people into it last year).

I guess these are my goals for this season

1) Do the complete Swedish MTB marathon cup
2) Participate in a couple of XC races to get some motivation to get fast in technical terrain.
3) Keep to my training schedule
4) Not overdo it and burn out at the end of the racing season, keeping on riding the whole year
5) Do all races better than previously (time and/or placing)

I'd be glad if I could get points any of the marathon races (which means top 25 of about 100 in my category), but this will probably not happen in a few years I'm afraid.

My goals for 2008 are:

-Spend more time working on my endurance.
-Like BW said - Wake up earlier to ride before I do anything else.
-Do at least 5 mountain bike races.
-I'm looking for a 1st place finish at IA state track championships (which will probably be by default  ).
-Be a good, hard working teammate to help Jane dominate the region.
-Looking for a top 10 finish at Snake Alley.
-Not get injured or burnt out.
-Win CX IA state championships
-Looking for a top 30 finish at CX nationals
-Looking for a top 1/3 finish at US road, TT, and crit nationals.

my goals for 08:

-ride everyday i can.
-enter a couple races.
-go to oa camp this feb.
-go to bc this summer for vf cycle na meetup.
-if i get into grad school, sell my cars and only ride cycles.
-if i dont get into grad school, lessen the usage of a car while at home.
-do a triathlon.
-build muscle, reduce fat.
-gamble less so i can buy more bike stuff.

thats most of it. but i think the first goal is most important. oh, and maybe get into a "training" regime if i am able to travel with my bike more.

I might have to try this getting up early to ride thing. I don't try to train, but it could make my day better. On days that I work that is soon enough for me, though, and is a minimum of about 4.5mi

Wowwee - lotsa great entries people! I hope we all report back at the end of the year with lotsa success. =)

This year for me, mainly track oriented:

* improve my sprinting significantly, which includes beating the guy who usually handed my ass to me in bunch sprints, get my 200m down to 12.5 (from 12.9, nowhere near Josh's 11.4 tho!)

* hit 1500w on my power meter (1 second)

* dunno if i'll toy with the kilo..guess i might have to if it's in the Omniums..haha.. If so, i'd like to see it under 1'14 (PB ~1'18)

* get my 4km pursuit under 5'20

* finish in the Top 3 overall in the Endurance (and Omium if we do it) in this years 'BC Cup' (over four events)

* attempt to podium at Provincials, most likely in a bunch race

* compete at Nationals for the first time

* race in Seattle and Portland (first time!) for their big events in July

* work on team tactics, now that we have a team. =)

* continue to put the hurt on in the weekly track league

* continue to organize weekly racing events (twice a week), our two Trackfests (two days each this year) and BC Provincials, as well as our local OrganicAthlete Chapter

* get a new aero track frame, PowerTap rear wheel, HED3 front wheel =)

* maybe do some more road events...not a big priority

* finish top 10 in island CX series races, Intermediate category (finished 16th in each of the three i did..haha..)

* get a fun full-suspension XC MTB by the fall

* climbing: get through 10's by year end..hard to gauge, and dunno how much time i'll have for climbing come the summer...

That's off the top of my head. ;)

If my improvements this year are as solid as last year, i'll be organizing an OA track team for 2009. =)

EDIT: Added 1500w goal.

I think my goals are:
- Participate in at least a couple of mtb-races, preferably marathons.
- Feel fast as the wind during these races:)
- Go at least under 8'30 hrs on the 300km race around the lake Vattern here in sweden in june.
- Beat the guy who I have never yet kept up with on our weekly rides during the climbs.
- Join a club.
- Train more than I have ever done before, and keep myself free from injuries.
- Maybe do the 520km race between Stockholm and guthenburg.
- Always go by bike wherever I go within the city.
- Make the people I ride with think veganism makes you fast.

Might have to ad a few as we go along... I hope:)

some of my goals:
* complete the Randonneur Round the Year - one audax of at least 200km in every calendar month. So far I've done one in January.
* do a 300km audax. And maybe a 400km.
* go on a big tour somewhere - 4 weeks or so, carrying full camping gear in my trailer
* do a few shorter tours, maybe including an off road tour of some sort, plus some bivvying by bike
* maybe have a go at a few mountain bike races (I'd like to do a mountain bike marathon, but there's not many happening anywhere near here)
* cycle to my parents house (about 300km, over some rather hilly roads)...

oh one more goal:

to increase my leg muscles such that they no longer fit inside my current jeans. that would make me so happy.
