I haven't heard from Tee yet. I'm glad no one else wants to wait til 2pm either. I'd feel a bit mean if it was up to me to tell her she can't come, but it's not so bad relaying a group decision.

Littlegirlbunny can't post here so I will be relaying messages.
We will be meeting at Westminster Bank. You can't drive up there so you'll need to park on West Malvern road somewhere.

Westminster Bank

Jo's suggested 9.30am because she's got other stuff to do that day.
The earlier the better for me if it means we meet less walkers. Is that OK for everyone else ?

Jo's report. Copy & pasted so "I" & "me" refers to the Wascally Wabbit, not me.

Thanks to all you vegans who turned out today :) T’was a great ride – we were blessed with the company, weather and well tempered walkers!

Here are a few photos, shame we didn’t get more, but it’s just no fun stopping on the best descents to take snapshots!

Good turnout for a Thursday the 25th ;)

Left to right: Seitan, Toffo, Philthy Builder, Littlegirlbunny, Big Good Wolf

Toffo and BGW at the end of the North Hill descent – this was considerably more techy at the start, but, of course, photo’s never show the real deal

Seitan:

Nowt wrong with walking (if it leads to excellent descents!) – did I warn you that as a (pretend wannabe) freerider I am gradually loosing any ability to cycle upgradient
Image

Breaktime at the top of the Beacon (it’s in black and white so people aren’t distracted from the view by Graham's sunglass-requiring outfit)
Image

Just kidding, what would we do without grahams fantastic clothes – even the walkers loved them :D
Image

Toffo putting out a cigarette on the way off the beacon ;)
Image

Seitan and Nell (and his war face)
Image

Me n Dillon – we had fun today with my new supersticky vegan-skate-shoes with five ten resoles. Hardtails are fun 8)

And all I did was sit around and eat all day ! Never even looked at my bike. You guys make me feel so guilty !

Looks like you had a great time !

GPS data from the ride;

14.41km
5.0km/h average
763m ascent
58.8km/h maximum speed.

Thanks for the comments. You know how it is, if you've got the figure for lycra, you've got to make the most of it. :D

There was even more stopping and talking and looking at the scenery than usual on this one. :D

5.0km/h average and we still get people say they won't come because they don't think they are fit enough. :?

I've just realised I didn't switch the GPS off as soon as we got back and I was standing around talking for at least half an hour while the average speed gradually dropped.
