Never let it be said that I rode with such a tiny front chainring !

I have a 56 ring for next year !.....evil laugh !

Ouch!!

You'd want one that small if you rode MTB tho. ;)

Which is why I don't ride MTB !

Interesting comparison with running.

Isn't "heavy duty resisting" exactly what happens every time a runner lands on their leading foot ?

Looks like I'm in trouble with my 32x13 then. :?

i doubt JBC does much resisting on a 25 mile tt

i'd like to add my vote for crank bros quattro pedals. i love the egg beater and candy pedals, but have had no'but grief with the quattros.

i'm not flash, i wouldn't normally buy titanium anything, but i got the quattro Ti's half-price. sent them back for repairs under warranty with a wobbly cleat spring after 6 mths. the Ti spindle had worn, not repairable with the bearing kit, so they put new spindles on. they wore out again, but are now out of warranty. then this morning, one pedal dropped off onto the floor as i got onto the bike. the pedals are well over 100 euros at full price....
