I heard heard that socks must extend above booties though. Can anyone confirm this? How much extension should I be measuring with my ruler before the ride? What if they come down during the ride? What is the protocol on pulling socks up?
I am most concerned about this...........
In track/time trial terms, socks must never ever ever, appear over the top of aero boots or overshoes. Its looks awful. I have red aero overshoes. If white sock was showing over the top, it would look careless and scruffy. Like I had got dressed in a hurry !
That way lies madness !
I think you can just about see in my avatar, yellow aero oversocks, and no sock showing over the top. Just finely turned calf muscles and sun tan !
Seconded! There is no tolerance for any footwear being visible outside booties besides the cleat.

Hi all,
If you have a pair of OA shorts that needs to be replaced due to the stitching, email justin<at>organicathlete(dot)org.
We've talked about doing plain black shorts in addition to the OrganicAthlete colors, would there be interest in that?
We're working with a new clothing company next year, too. Justin should have details about ordering the '09 kit soon.

Plain black shorts, but with the "Go Vegan" logo would be definitely be interesting. The green/orange shorts doesn't go well with by red/black club jersey, but black with the "Go Vegan" logo would be awesome!

How about 'Go Vegan!' on the legs, in place of the OA logo (or a smaller logo) so it's a bit more 'neutral' as well..?
