I finally have some numbers to post here
Yesterday I did my usual Max Ramp VO2max test with my coach, and we also did a Wingate test immediately afterwards (well, not immediately, after like 10 minutes of easy pedaling). Doing another max test before a Wingate test is perhaps not the best way to get accurate numbers, but I will be doing these tests like this in the future as well so it's more a way to track my progress than anything else.
So the numbers that are interesting (I guess) are:
5s: 607W
30s: 535W
Body weight: 65kg
Test equipment:
Monark Ergomedic 894E Peak Bike
As you can see my 5s and 30s are very close together, probably one explanation is that I haven't done any explosive power training at all so far this season. Quite surprising though is that the 5s number shouldn't be too affected by doing a max ramp test just before, but the 30s should, which means that my anaerobic endurance seems to be relatively good. Perhaps I'll be able to get a better set of figures at my next test, will post more then.
The Wingate test was pure suffering, I never thought I was going to get that hammered after just 30 seconds
