My MK2 Chopper which I restored last year to use at festivals, It has only been ridden once since and sits in my garage gathering dust until I sell it to raise money for my new road bike.


This is my old 80s Raleigh Winner, I use it for going to the pub on. It is heavy and only has 5 gears but I love it!


My MTB, only had it a couple of months but its been a couple of awesome months!


My road bike, I love this bike so much, it kick started my cycling obsession last year, it got me healthy, basically it changed my life! Yeah , I know the frame size it WAY too big but it is going up for sale soon to pay for a new carbon MEKK.

-Need to put the front brake on the bars (pursuit style reverse pull brakes).
-Cover the bars with a bit of black cork tape.
-Spray paint the back wheel solid black to get rid of the aluminum rim color.

Racing bike.
It's taking forever to finish this. It's a lot harder, and a lot more expensive. The wheels need to be glued. I just reset the brakes. I have a new cockpit, but I can't require the whole thing by myself. I need special tools. I have new carbon shoes, but I don't know if the 44.5 or the 45's are the right size. ugh. It's pretty. But twitchy in the wind. At least until I get the hang of it.

I rode one of those for a season. Liked it very much.

That front wheel will always make it very twitchy. Personally, I'd swap it for a more stable front wheel. But it looks cool !

Funny.......you can own the best carbon fibre beauty available, worth a crazy amount of money, but an old fixed gear bike, worth 10% of the best bike is so often the favourite.

I think its the direct connection and honesty of the fixed gear that creates the love affair.

Cleaned up, new drivetrain, rubber etc for the start of its fourth season (also does winter training duties)

I bought a nice old used road bike a while ago and decided to spruce it up a bit. Here is the before picture:



Only the frame and the fork/stem/handlebars are original.
- Stripped the paint down and repainted it with a nice little design
- Chopped the handlebars and flipped them to make bullhorns
- Took off the front derailleur and went with a single gear crank
- Changed to a 9-speed cassette
- Upgraded to lighter-weight wheels
- Upgraded the saddle

That's about it. Here are the after pictures:
