Possibly another HED3 (apparently it's easy to convert the hubs) or a deep section aero wheel, like an 808 or Dura Ace Carbon.

You can get the HEDs for absurdly low prices on track/fixed speed specific websites, they just don't come up too often.

I was looking for the Colnago Pussy Cat.....made from cardboard, but they didn't do one. So I went to the other extreme !

Actually, I'm not too far off my normal power. I'm about 10% down at the moment. I've been doing lots of riding in America, and feel quite strong. I've lost a load of weight too. I'm quite ripped now, so that makes me feel stronger, especially on the hills, even if the power figures are down a bit.

But yes......I can't ever justify an Extreme Power.............Extreme Poseur ?

just make sure your weight loss is at least 10% as well, then you're actually better off than before

I'm about 7% lighter, I think. So I am definitely faster on the climbs, but not quite as quick on the flat. But I'm not training for top end speed at the moment, so thats ok.

Its great to be riding in the heat. Its usually over 100 degrees, and sometimes 110, and always sunny. I could get used to this !

Back in England for a while next week, and going to do some off road stuff ! Put it down ot heat stroke...... .....
