[quote="baldy"]VF roadtrip! Its the same day as the London Vegan Festival -> http://www.vegancampaigns.org.uk/festival/index.html

hey i just had a look at this and xJimX was NOT joking, there are all kinds of weirdo subjects with absolutely no fucking relation to veganism being presented!

well, thats the way it is here i guess...

Holy shit, I thought xJimx was joking too. He's not.
[quote] Doreen Renphrey will be speaking about `The New Conciousness Vegan Diet` : How raw friut and raw vegetables have been energised with the same crystals, sacred geometry and sacred sound, and how the levels have higher conductivity with this diet.

I took Mrs BGW to the West Midlands Vegan Festival a couple of years ago, it was the first time she'd knowingly met a vegan, apart from me. As we left, the first thing she said was "There were a lot of hippies there".

JP, you have got to get on the stage at the London Vegan Festival after the comp.

[quote="baldy"][quote="JP"]hey maybe you can get a lift from baldy or talyn or someone else who is going if you want to come? :)

Yes! 95% chance that I will be driving up to watch, so would be no problem to give people lifts.
Looks like it might turn into a jam packed vegan weekend. Saturday afternoon/evening in London then Sunday roadtrip to Kent.

Damn! I hadn't realised it was a Sunday (I'm slow on the uptake). Can't go as I have practice in the afternoon/evening. But good luck, JP!

hehe thanks man, not sure if i could commit after the comp because i have no idea what time it would end. I hope to be able to go via the fair though anyway.

BUT! after looking at that horrendeous list of esoteric stuff at the fair i am think maybe should volunteer to do a workshop about veganism and sport (preferably co-run it with some cardio geek to get both areas covered?) at some future fair?

thanks man :) i bet there will be some pics taken, dont have a dedicated pic or vid person with me though!

unfortunately the weigh in is at 7pm on saturday, which means i cant have anything substantial during the day - bummer! Visiting pogo would amount to torture ;)

any tips for a substantial take away though? The Plan is to get some kind of take away for the evening post weigh in, doubt i would find much good food in the small place at that time of night...

Joni, will you be in London on Saturday night or will you stay out in wherever-it-is?

Also, do you know what time the comp starts?

comp starts at 12 noon mate.

who knows how long it will take - if you have to leave before the end i wont hold it against you ;)

i am not yet sure what to do on saturday night, would be quite boring to just hang out in the hotel, so maybe should venture to london...
