General idea: How about truck pull for the superhero class? Maybe I can borrow my mother's caravan... ^^

Ok thoughts are turning towards this comp now.

I have a couple of questions:

Shouldn't stones be the last event? I can't be arsed doing anything once I've washed off the tacky :?

Seems to be a lot of carrying in this - farmers, husafeld stone max distance, loading barrels. Over in the UK we call these "Krypto events"...

I suppose you want to see one of them replaced with max deadlifts (straps allowed?)

What's the point in promoting your own comp unless you can pick events to suit you? If this weren't the case, UKs Strongest Man wouldn't even exist!

One of the benefits of running a comp is you can listen to all the internet warriors telling you how to run it, and what events to have etc...

btw - log should always be first, and stones last. no questions.

I dunno, I seem to remember buzz promoting a comp last year and the events didn't seem designed to suit him at all...

counterargument: one hand thick dumbell press!

whats the point of promoting a comp if others wouldnt start slagging off the choice of events on the internet!

aye, log first, stones last.

Spug you disco scumbag, choice of events is based on available equipment, which isn't that much at the moment!

Disco Plaything - van pull is IN! Great idea :D
If it shouldn't work out, we'll just do car push instead :)

Nice! ;) We should but use it as an optional event since my mother is unpredictable and it could be that she's gonna say no in the last minute... I'm only gonna tell her I wanna borrow the thing for sleeping in it, so she migth still give it to me!

Yeah I realise that man, and the comp is solid. I was just thinking we could change the order/flavour of some of the events.

Log first, stones last fo sho. Maybe could use the farmers as grip test (or are they max 120kg?) and the barrels part of a medley with the tyre?

Some weight could be taken off the yoke too imo

Been trying to figure out some placings for these events. So far I have:

Event 1 (Max Log)

1. Spug
2. Germans

Will be difficult to fit that in, maybe saturday morning...
I still have no real overview of how many people are coming and staying for how many days. Only a lot of "mayhaps".
Aw please let's fit it in! What about the water park/thermal baths as initially mentioned?
