Hello all! I have been visiting here for a few months now and have been inspired by all of you for your fitness feats and compassionate transition to veganism has been a gradual one but heading in the correct direction none-the-less.

my question is about where to buy seeds for sprouting...the large beans are easy enough to find in a local co-op or health food store, but where do i get the small broccoli, alfalfa, radish...etc.??

all i can think of are those little organic seed packets-that can't be right??

thanks in advance for your help

Heya - welcome!!

You should be able to find all the smaller seeds in the bulk section at the health food store too...maybe ask..?

There are several online sites which sell them - try google and see what ones it brings up. You will probably get a good deal if you shop around a bit :D

If you have one, try your local farmers market. Sprouted seeds are becoming more popular and you might be able to find someone selling them. We have a seller at the farmers market I go to.

I'm actually growing alfalfa sprouts in my dorm room in college. A whole foods or an international foods type grocery store will have them.
