Hello, my name is Andres, i am currently 18 and i became a vegetarian about a week and a half or two, and i have to say that it is great. However, i am encountering some problems with my new diet and how it is affecting my body and digestion. I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian, and i decided to switch because i realized how animals are tortured, killed, and raised full of chemicals and pesticides here in America. I have been eating healthily for about almost 3 year but since December i started having some gastric problems, getting really bloated and having a kind of mild burning sensation in my stomach. When i decided to get in shape i lost 81 lbs and i got to weight from 205lbs to 124lbs, during my lightest period i barely eat meat and i had no problems at all, but then i started eating more meat and my stomach got worse and worse. I think that what had the worst effect on my system was meat and foods with a lot of protein or heavy foods which i decided to eat more due to my parents making me because i was very very skinny, but i loved it because of how lean and healthy i felt. I changed my diet to more protein, barely grain and vegetables and fruits and since then i have had stomach problems for some reason. The main problem is that i am trying to go back to my leanest shape but with a completely veggie diet, currently i am at about 130-132 because i added muscle mass due to the increase in protein and also because of the way i was training. Now it seems that some foods are having bad effects on my system as i am trying to change to a vegetarian diet, like Peanut butter which i tried this morning and during lunch and i felt like a had eating a box of matches and somebody turn them on in my stomach, i also got very gassy during the school day(not nice). So i ask for any tips or info on this if you guys and gals could help, also i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to decrease muscle size and obtain harder smaller muscles with definition and endurance which is what i need for Parkour and my bodyweight routines.
I also wanted to know about some of protein that would be good and what kind of ratio (carbs/protein/fat) would be good to obtain a lean body with a lot definition, which i have but i would like to increase as well as downsize the muscles and a little fat that i have just covering my lower abs, and also any opinion on soy isolate protein...is it good, bad? i have an all natural version but i don't know if it is recommended or not??
Thanks
