Mac Danzig - The truth about vegan diet

Postby JohnBarleycorn » Sat Apr 07, 2012 8:03 pm

I eat to nourish my compassion, not my greed

I'm the man they couldn't kill ! I cannot be destroyed with conventional weapons !

And probably the former fastest British Vegan 10, 25 and 50 mile TT rider. Probably.

Yeah hoping he can pull it out the bag...he's been on the circuit a while and has a cool head but not had a win for a bit. Cant wait for the Jones v Evans main event (not that they are vegan though)!

Yeah, he looked like he was in great physical shape. His skills seemed sharp as well. Great boxing and takedown defense. Efrain is a tough dude.

I wasn't to impressed (but very happy). If I hadn't seen any of his other fights I would probably think he wasn't good at all.

Why is that? He controlled every aspect of the fight from bell to bell. The fight wasnt a barnburner, but his technique was very sharp agaisnt Escudero. He looked the best he's ever looked, IMO.

Remember MMA is a sport with evenly matched professional athletes, not a drunken bar room brawl.

Totally! Wasnt an exciting fight but he performed very well. He always has a cool head and how he escaped the heel hook then went on to compelte 2 more rounds with a swollen ankle (and even kicking on the same leg) shows how professional he is!

Ok, I don't know how the injury affected hios performance, how much pain he was in etc. But I think his boxing was more crisp in some other fights he had. Also he didn't manage to take Escudero down very well and after the heel hook atempt he got in a great position but didn't do anything there (then again it could be due to his foot).
