Mac is most likely fighting on July 11th @ UFC 100

Nothing is signed as of yet and no opponent has been named, but Mac has been told he'll be fighting at UFC 100 on July 11th at Mandaly Bay in Las Vegas.

More info as soon as it becomes available.

That's good news. We all know he needs a win, but I might go so far as to say he needs to win by knockout or submission even. A close decision might not be enough for him to keep getting fights, but who knows.

This is good news! I thought he'd lost his chances in the UFC.

This is excellent! My bet is he's relegated to the untelevised portion on night like 100, but he shouldn't be!

Glad to see the UFC's giving him another shot after the Neer fight...

Mac Danzig is a very good fighter but he seems to have a lot of trouble dealing with crazy aggressive opponents. His last two fights, he lost against guys who were just super aggressive and fast. He seems like he's doing well when he can spar at his own speed and deliver some vicious punches.
I wonder if his coaching team at Xtreme Couture is working on that...

right on!

He is getting tough fights for sure. Its a tough division. He is definatley good enough to be there, has just had some tough ass opponents.I hope he goes full on aggressive and smashes jim miller, nothing against jim but mac needs this win and we need a vegan champion!

Best of luck to mac.

For the UK peeps, looks like the collapse of Setanta doesn't mean we'll miss out:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/ufc/2508674/UFC-100-will-air-live-on-UK-TV.html

If they have any sense they'll go for five, regardless of being able to make more cash elsewhere. Being on free terrestrial television would really advance the UFC in the UK. Boxing took a near-fatal blow when Sky signed up the top promoters over here :?
