JP,

that Vegan guy that you or Rochelle mentioned who did Wing Chun would be good for this forum. Maybe you could contact him and ask him to join?

Hi. I practice and teach Wing Chun in Western Massachusetts and would support a dependable thread/forum.

Good thoughts.

I am the female wt person Rochelle mentioned (I have a couple of posts on the board - btw also to the tai chi vs wt discussion you took part in). However it's really really cool that there's other wt people here (so far three of us, as far as I know - me and two guys)

I hope no more confusion about my gender - or who's who! hahaha

I'm located in Amsterdam, so not quite the UK :)

Which organisation do you train with?

The club i am with used to be under sifu shawn rawcliffes midlands wing chun kuen but my sifu parted ways amicably with no animosity, basically due to shawn being a very busy man and wasn't really able to give the students in my club the attention he felt they needed and deserved.

Remaining under ip man and ip chun in lineage my sifu returned to training with sifu harry cannon who completed his training under samual kwok. So under sifu cannons international association of wing chun my sifu (sifu bill Mckay) has continued to expand "somerset wing chun" around somerset and surrounding area in the west country.

I train in the IWKA-organisation which is relatively young but quickly growing. I train under sifu Iadarola who's sifu was sifu Kernspecht (EWTO) until they parted ways - so we are in the Yip Man-Leung Ting lineage.
