I know it's not really related to what we normally chat about here, but what does everyone make of what's going on with Murdochs crew? Anyone else amused by all the borderline criminal 'guardians-of-the-free-press' [sic] being desperately thrown to the wolves by Dave in a vain attempt by him to retain some kind of credibility?
Yanks the stories going to hit you soon, gossip is they tried the same things over there as they did here. And it's such a shame as Fox news is such a well loved American institution...

I just imagine what was going through that idiot's head while he was hacked into the phone of a high profile missing teenager, probably murdered, and deciding to delete message.
Still, I'm sure this was an isolated incident and most press investigators are responsible and sensible.

They would seem to be accused of hacking into 9/11 victims phones. That'd make whatever they're accused over doing over here seem like a smart move in comparison. If it's proved they'll be hung out to dry; well someone will...

I just heard that the guy who blew the whistle was found dead.
Conspiracy theories can start properly now.

The fact that the police are not treating it as suspicious makes it suspicious in my mind...

What I find most ridiculous is that people are actually surprised by it. Anyone that has brought together an empire like that has done some shady stuff.
I hope when everything finally comes out it will cause the rest of the news organizations to straighten up and act right. News isn't about telling what is going on anymore, it's just a bunch lies and fear mongering to get ratings.
