We've been there and made a campaign "stolen" from PETA!

It was a terrible heat under this lamination. Never had such long 2 hours. But it was great. And kinda fun to see the people watching you and listen to the controversies.
Some people really felt offended and they called the police. But we were allowed to stay!

Now I have to try to get the fake blood off my hands... they are pink at the moment...

Interesting idea!

Did you get many positive comments- do you think it was successful?

Amazing pictures. Sometimes those powerful images are needed to poke through the "I don't want to go there" barrier with people and flesh consumption.

Yes, I found some pictures at google. We also sent a media advisory to the local newspaper and some areal TV stations but it seems it wasn't interesting enough. No press for us. :(

I don't know whether there were people who really thought this was a positive thing. I think it was more impressive for them and they were suprised to get faced with something like that. A mix of surprise, disgust and fascination.
But yes, I think it was successful. We gave away lots of info material.

A friend who took these pictures also published one photo at fotocommuity.de
http://www.fotocommunity.de/pc/pc/pcat/289198/display/9211778

There were also different opinions - from aroused to different points of view.

contemplating about replaying you're awesome protest here. although i'm a bit suspicious if anybody would raise an eyebrow in a country where war is the most popular sport and nobody pays attention to genocide either :?

what does the sign say?
