Hi!
Vegomässan wants to know what kind of comp we want to have and if there are any specific rules. They want to promote the comp in advance so they want to know. Push ups? The Plank?

I'm guessing plank is the more even one, and easiest to start with? Not everybody can do a push-up. And maybe more will dare to try it than push-ups?

Or just static hold with barbells or kettlebells.

If it is going to be a comp, maybe plank is more difficult to judge than pushups and also, people are probably better at doing planks than pushups = longer queues and more difficult to get the momentum going. But then again, if no one wants to be in a pushup contest we will have a problem. So I say pushups, but I have no problems with planks if this is what other people prefer.

On a related note: I am planning to order a brand new VF T-shirt for this event. If anyone wants to share postage and package fees with me please let me know and we can order together. I will order around November 15 so PM me if you want to order together. http://skreened.com/veganfitness/

I am also going to make some flyers (A5 format, about 400 copies) about Vegan Fitness. If some of you are interested in being a "reading&commenting"- group before I print them that would be much appreciated. :)

I think push-up contest. We can probably get someone to sponsor a small price, some vegan protein powder perhaps?

What have they said about weights, can we have them if anyone's able to bring some?

I don't think we can get weights. I don't know anyone im Malmö who has weights at home and I can't bring any.

Can someone check with for example Veganlife about the protein powder as a price?

I can help you with text Ida if you want to and with the postage and package. Mail me.

Do we know if weights are even allowed in there?

I'm actually seeing a person who works at Veganlife in a few days so I'll check with them.

Can you check with them? I can't bring any weights but I could ask around if I knew it were a possibility.
What about bronco, didn't he bring a truckload of weights to vfw?

I don't think he is going there (and last time he lived in Austria and borrowed stuff from people there). I'm not to keen on doing any lifting at vegomässan either. I think we should skip the idea of a lifting show.

So, I have ordered two banners. One about 3m wide and the other 1,5m. The guy I talked to sounded very skeptical since I only had a low resolution picture but we will see how it turns out. Might try to fiddle together a better picture some day but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Good job kallefs, and I've asked Helhetshälsa to sponsor the push-up contest. They're a vegan-friendly company
and will have a stall at the fair so are hopefully interested.
