30 bananas in a day.

Postby kallefs » Thu Aug 30, 2012 12:45 pm

To not overflow Hoffmeisters training log with dirrty-talk about bananas and raw-food lets take it here.

Saturday 1 September. At least 30 bananas. Anything else besides bananas is of course encouraged.

And it's not a month of chewing as Rawctober would be.

GO!

Seems like a painful way to spend a Saturday.
Thinking about it.

After 30 bananas this would be inevitable.

I think the things raw foodists believe are glaringly obvious bunk. However, some of the raw foodists are very nice people, putting their dietary beliefs aside. Harley is one of them. I'm not into mocking him, though I love humor and appreciate the humor here on this board.

This is certainly not about mocking anyone, it's just that some people have expressed disbelieve in the possibility of eating 30 bananas in one day. It's time to step up and prove this witch talk wrong with actual empirical SCIENCE! Hence bananas will be eaten.

Durianrider is a disgrace to the vegan community, if you want to see the damage he has caused take a look at pretty much any other strength or fitness community.

I can't say I agree.

Yes, other vegan strength/fitness boards are a joke as far as credibility go and that is the result of raw foodists as well as other types of nutrition folklorists chasing knowledgeable people away.

Durianrider isn't doing that.

He set up his own site so that people who share his beliefs can talk about them in peace without bothering other people.

Well, you can do it anyway you want of course. But maybe try banana #24 or 25 dipped in chocolate? #17 could be deep fried with ice cream? I'm just throwing solutions out to a non existing problem. So much to try, so few bananas.

Hyperkalemia? Perhaps not an issue for most people, but who really knows how sensitive they are to this, unless of course this is not the first attempt on 30 bananas a day (not likely, I think this is a once in a life time thing).
