[quote="Big Good Wolf"]At the moment it's Hiking Foxes books, Mary's cakes & flapjacks and not much else.

Prob best if I don't take part in the stall or put my books on it, as apparently I'm "heavy handed" with people on this forum. I will still post on here, but I'm ducking out of moderating or promoting it.

Have you seen the list of Talks and Workshops* ?
There's two raw food nutters and a ley line hunter.
We need all the fit, heavy handed vegans we can get.

I had a quick look at the stalls, we might get put next to some very interesting folks.

Hey now, Vegan Bodybuilding & Vegan Runners sounds good. As VF seems to be wedged between them, I think ya just might survive the star gazing ley line chasers, dang meanies that they are! ;-p

Yeah I needed to look up ley lines, not sure how I survived this long without them. Vegan Runners and Bodybuilders will be great, VBB.org always seem to have a fun stall with challenges.

There's now a button for the fitness challenge in the side menu, linked to a few details about it.

And a new Vegan Sports category has been created on the stalls page.

You may have noticed that the updated yellow leaflets mention the fitness challenge, so hopefully there'll be lots of people having a go throughout the day! :)

If you would like leaflets (or A4 posters) to distribute/display, please email info@veganmidlands.org.uk with your name, address and the quantity you can use.

Do you want to print out a few of these to bring along?

I think they will go down pretty well. :)

Must admit, I groaned aloud when I saw the big-up of raw food stuff in the line up.

Astrology and ley lines are mildly embarrassing, but having two whole talks devoted to raw is pretty desperate.

Hah! Pete runs a good show, very welcoming chap. I hope they split VF and VBB up, it'd be a shame to be muddled together...

I love the WM vegan festival, I always have a brilliant day and spend way more than I should on vegany stuff, The only real criticism of previous years is the magic wand guy, did anyone else see him on his stall of crazy?

Rumour has it we might have some arm wrestling at our stall this year.

Oh dear, they've got a "Raw Food Celebrity" to open the festival.
I've already upset someone by asking if the "alternative therapy" stall holders at the festival will be providing scientific proof to back up their claims on the festival's Facebook page.
Looks like they haven't spotted my comment about allowing someone to use the festival as a means to publicise their own business promoting an eating disorder yet.

Sounds very suboptimal. All we can really do is have the best stall we can and try push the mainstream fit, healthy non hippy lifestyle angle.
Next year we should make a point of doing a talk, lets take the fair back!
