Agreed food was not the best I have had at Pogo, it is volunteer driven so always going to be hit and miss. My knickerbockerglory also had sub optimal levels of banana in it.

Good vibes though.

Well, it is pretty hard to fit 30 bananas there.

I've worked with loadsa volunteer caterers and there's no reason at all why volunteers can't have food hygiene and customer service training. Also, any place that sells food is subject to trading standards laws, whether they staff are paid or not.

I guess I'm just comparing Pogo to how it used to be when I went years back (a bit chaotic, but great food cooked by people who love the customers).

A friend mentioned last night that they still go in quite often and our experience wasn't the norm.

It was a nice meetup. Good to meet Hiking Fox and always good to catch up with the rest of you lot.

Pogo was, well, Pogo. It's really hit or miss!

Didn't even realise that photo was taken! My face was probably that way because skoptic was talking about something disgusting that my innocent ears could not comprehend. I will never look at taps the same way again.

Yeah - good hookup, thanks everyone :)

Talyn - yeah, yeah, yeah ... you didn't look shocked at the time, you looked jaded and wordly-wise ;)

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish

A massive THANKS to baldy for making this happen and props to wizz for their ultra cheap tickets.

The food at Pogo was , well, ... best left at that.

BUT, the atmosphere skoptic helped create was a mastercard moment to say the least.

High fives for everybody who showed up!
