Details of a regular New Event for Manchester

After hearing about the fabulous Vegan Drinks meet ups in the States and the
success of the London one we figured Manchester should be next! So what is vegan
drinks? Well, it's a relaxed social event and a chance to hang out in a vegan
friendly bar meeting interesting folks. The event is free and people will
purchase on the night any food or drinks they wish to have. Please feel free to
bring any leaflets or cards for events or causes related to animal or veg*n
issues you wish to promote for our leaflet table. And, as lots of you are
creative types we don't mind you advertising your Etsy shops or gigs etc. If you
run a business and want to bring along any free samples of vegan friendly stuff
that's cool too!

The first Manchester Vegan Drinks is on Wednesday 18 January from 6.30pm. It
will be held at Bakerie on Lever Street in the Northern Quarter. You don't have
to be vegan to come along, non vegans are very welcome but we would ask that you
respect that most attendees are vegan and refrain from eating and drinking non
vegan while at Vegan Drinks. See you there!

This is a really good idea, good luck with it. The London one really works because having it in a place that sells booze keeps away the hippies who like talking about colonic irrigation, homeopathy and stuff like that.

I can't make the 18th, sadly, as I'm working. If I have 2-3 weeks notice I can ensure I work a day shift on a particular date.
