Come along and enjoy a great day out for all the family! Find out more about animal welfare
organisations working all over the World, and buy some gifts from our 40+ charity stalls.
Listen to talks about British wildlife, puppy farms, animal friendly holidays and animals
in circuses to name but a few, and have a cup of tea and slice of cake in our Cruelty Free Cafe.
Children will have plenty to do in our activities room, they can enter our Information Treasure Hunt
for free and receive a goody bag for completing it, and have their faces painted with all monies
going to help the animals. Trevor weeks, the founder of East Sussex Wildlife Rescue, who appears
regularly on Animals24:7 and Wildlife ER will be there to open the fair and welcome everyone to
this wonderful event!
I've been roped into helping on this one. It's an attempt to bridge that gap between animal welfare & animal rights. The event has been quietly changed to a vegan event & there are vegan caterers & stall holders have been advised to bring only vegan goodies (there may be a few slip ups as they get used to the idea!). But supporting you will be helping to educate those into animal welfare about how much more they could be doing with a few simple changes in their lives. It is an event to raise cash for shelters & charities involved in helping animals both here & abroad, so it's not the same as crowd as the vegan fairs, but it should be good, but hopefully we'll also be subtly influencing them into moving more towards a vegan outlook, not just an animal welfare one.
