Kensington Animal Charities fair, London 7th Nov

Not specifically vegan, though I believe it is pretty animal rights orientated. Just thought I'd plug it in case anybody is interested.

It's actually moving towards being a more animal friendly event. The old caterers have been sacked as they sold meat sandwiches (there are going to be veggies serving food) & all the stallholders have been asked to only have animal-free products on their stalls (although it may take a few years to get that particular rule into everyone's heads). I will be there on the day (mainly rushing about keeping everything running, not doing a stall or anything). The idea is to create a space where some Animal Welfare(AW) people can dip their toes into a more Animal Rights(AR) sort of thing (like including farm animals into their field of compassion, not just dogs & cats, the idea of rights, not just welfare etc) as there seemed to be nowhere for AW people to see any AR issues this could end up being a useful cross-over point for them. So bear in mind this is an AW event & the stalls reflect this.

Hurt my back badly deadlifting (grrrr!) so won't actually be there on the day. Stuck on the couch doing ROM movements & spending a fortune on supplements that might aid recovery (damn this internet & it's easy to buy products!)
