British Animal Rights Gathering 2010

Just plugging this for the benefit of everyone interested. I'm not one of the organisers, so any questions should be directed to them via the website.

Last year's event was laid back and fun, with loads of discussions, socialising, an open mic night, campfire, vegan cake and as much food as people could stuff in.

I will be testing new cake recipes on the attendees and holding a truffle-making workshop.

Hang on a minute, didn't you used to have a quote from Alexie Sayle about "workshops" as your signature ?
Now you're running one.
Or are these engineering truffles ?

You're dead right, I was actually thinking about that as I was typing. You should have gone into Law, with a memory like that.

I've actually had the word "workshop" relentlessly drummed into me so much that I've started using it, though I wince when I do so, and I refuse to use the word "facilitator".

Besides, there will be engineering, of sorts. It's all about spheres, temperatures and moulding of materials.

This was a really nice event, with a great atmosphere, though not that well attended.
