Not very far, I think it was 50 km or something. But it was with cheap low-quality citybike and I went over hills and very steep terrain and I took very little rest, and it was hot. And - that's the most important - I didn't eat properly. The importance of eating light food cannot be underestimated when bicycling.

Now I have even worse bike. The only bicycle I actually bought (333 euros) was stolen from me after two weeks. I weeped.

It used to be my BIG wish to have a good bicycle. I guess I just have to wait... and it is not so very important. Anyway, I don't envy others who have good bicycles. Enjoy them!
The object of Strength is to control Power, which should pave the way for Noncruel Freedom. If Mind sustains Strength, and Noncruel Freedom supplies Spirit, which enhances Mind, then the head of causality unites its tail and Time is willing to serve Mind.

Alaska to Florida... that's quite a ride. Suddenly my ride this summer across Sweden (from Kiruna in the north to Ystad in the south) seems like a weekend trip... it's about 2000 km and we're doing it on road bikes with a minimum of luggage and will be riding about 120 km each day, with two resting days it will take us 18 days in total...

When are you embarking on this ride Fredrik?

Two weeks from tomorrow we start from the far north in Sweden... Right now I'm focusing on cycling long rides and eating :D

I'll try to post some information while on the road, even though I don't think computer access will not be our first priorities when not on the bike...
