I live in Calgary, Canada. I recently got into veganism. I'm trying to eat healthy, but also trying to lose weight as well. I'm currently reading The 30-Day Vegan Challenge by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau. I think this has been a good place to start. The challenge for me is finding the right foods to eat and make as i've never been much of a cook. I'm also trying to cut out as much excess sugar from my diet as I can. On top of that, I am a smoker. I guess i have to change one thing at a time! Any advice you can provide (books, what foods/ingredients to buy) would be greatly appreciated.
