Hey there

Postby Cosmo » Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:57 pm

Hey everyone. I've been vegan for about 7 years now.

I played hockey most of my life (from age 5 to 30 or so) and played 3 games professionally before breaking both bones in my lower left leg. Began riding a spin bike to stay in some kind of shape during rehab and fell in love with the bike. For the last 10 years I've been an avid road cyclist, occasional cyclocrosser, and for the last two years have been getting into triathlons. Still need to work on my swimming, but I'm getting there. Right now I say I "participate" in triathlons. One day I'd like to be able to say I "compete".

Been a member here for a while but I don't think I've ever posted. Or if I have, it's been a while.

Glad to be back, and looking forward to getting to know others on this board.

Welcome!

Always good to have more triathletes around. Especially ones that admit to a cyclocross habit. 8)

Welcome!
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

Welcome to another cyclist !

We need more cyclists on VF !
I eat to nourish my compassion, not my greed

I'm the man they couldn't kill ! I cannot be destroyed with conventional weapons !

And probably the former fastest British Vegan 10, 25 and 50 mile TT rider. Probably.
