I'm from Galston, in Ayshire (well live there at least).
Fitness wise - years ago I heavily into training in martial arts, with a fair bit of free weights for conditioning - I had an excellent training partner (he was a personal trainer in Glasgow so essentially got the benefit of his knowledge and experience for free).
I then got married and allowed all the hard work slowly morph into chilling on the couch, eating dominos and drinking copious amounts of beers!!!
Dropped a fair bit of weight so far (5 foot 10 - started at 96kg - now 84kg) but keen to improve my fitness goals as I seems to have hit that wall that I'm sure we're all familiar with.
I now feel as thought I go into the gym, headphones on, and go through the motions.
On here for some dietary / fitness advice - maybe a bot of motivation and help motivate others.
