Hi from (another!) Melbourne vegan

Postby Juliagoolia » Wed Dec 05, 2012 2:04 am

Hiya! I'm Julia, 27 years old living in Melbourne. I've been vegan for about two years and commenced strength training about six months ago. I generally train twice a week and have been incorporating more powerlifting techniques lately. I have also joined the women's circus in Footscray so I'm working towards increasing my upper body strength to do rope climbs and aerial work as well as acrobatics. Been learning general circus skills for the last six months and looking to do more specialised classes next year. I also do yoga three times a week, all in an effort to stay active without doing any cardio whatsoever :) looking forward to chatting to others and getting tips on perfecting the perfect 100% protein cupcake (that's a joke, but if it exits please let me know
ASAP).

Welcome! I was very close to a 100% protein cupcake before funding problems and the influence of the carb lobby ended my research.
