I'm a 26 year old male from London, UK. You may notice that my registration isn't exactly new. I registered here not long after going Vegan and have lurked over the past year gaining knowledge from this excellent community, wanting to settle into the new lifestyle and be in the right place before committing to an exercise regime.
Veganism has been working out really well, and I feel healthier and more energised than ever. My main aims are to generally get fitter and also to gain strength. The reasons for this include improving health and further increasing energy levels, and also to be a better advocate for Veganism as an exemplar; that it's possible to thrive without consumption of animal products.
My diet is currently quite good, consisting mainly of nutritionally balanced home-cooked meals, a fair bit of raw fruit and veg and few processed foods. And some alcohol and coffee.
Right now I walk (briskly) to work most days (about 3 miles journey), lift dumb bells haphazardly and attempt the odd set of push / sit ups. Ideally, I'd like my current activities to evolve into a proper programme - perhaps with a little assistance from those who'd be kind enough to offer it.
Cheers,
gutts
