Hey folks. Another chick from Vancouver, B.C. I love what I see on this site so far. I am a very new vegan, been veg for a coupla. Veganism is a bigger struggle for me than giving up meat ever was, but I keep on fightin' the good fight. I enjoy walking and running, and I plan to get into weights pretty soon here. Glad to see there are so many kindred spirits out there. I think I need support and inspiration every once in a while, probably like anyone. I can tell that this is a great site for that already. I also like skateboarding, and motorcycling, even if those don't really count as "fitness". Looking forward to meeting some of you. Heidi-G.

T, P, & A is one of my favorite movies!

Neal: He says we're going the wrong way...
Del: Oh, he's drunk. How would he know where we're going?

That part in Trains, Planes, and Automobiles, when they're getting drunk in the little motel room on the mini-bar booze, and John Candy electrocutes himself in the bathroom, makes me pee my pants laughing! That's one of my favorite movies too. And Doobie's Taxiola....ah, well, a brilliant film. Unfortunately, I am completely filled to the brim with stupid movie quotes and trivia. I like it when someone knows what I'm talkin' about though! Means I'm not the only freak....

Hiya,

nice one for joining the board, the more the merrier! :D I've been to a wee little village called Rosedale, many moons ago, that was about a 2 hour drive from Vancouver. Had relatives living there, that's why. I remeber it being a beautiful area, great for walking (and running if that's your thing). Maybe I'll be able to go back one day. The relatives weren't into walking - and I have to admit, neither was I at the time! - so I got to look at the surroundings from the picknick spot by a lake side :? Would like a few good walks around there!

I have to admit, I don't have a clue what your signature is about, was gonna ask you, but have since found out reading this thread. That film sounds well funny, will have to go and see if I can get it somewhere - then I will know what you're on about! :D

Nice one for going vegan! Once you get into the swing of things and know which stuff to avoid, it really is dead easy - and pretty yummy too I must say. Have a look at the vegan recipes section for some inspiration, some yummy stuff on there!

Anyway, enuff of me already, can talk for England, me!

See ya round,
Malcolm's Billy
