Happy new year to you all!

Vegan Fitness is 1 year old today! A big thanks to all the members who have helped keep this new online community alive for the past 12 months, and to all members who have joined but not joined in yet, drop in and say hello.

*Tsunami appeal*

Vegfam distribute food and supplies directly on the ground. They are a small vegan group, run by very few people, and so are not high profile. However, their remit is to provide vegan aid for people who need it, and they help dig wells, irrigate areas for plant growing, etc.

So far they have given £3000 worth of food aid in India, working together with grassroots Indian groups, and you can rely on them to send every penny to help victims of the disaster.

The website is very basic, but they are a reputable and effective group, relying solely on donations.
