Dear VF member,

The international VF week was held in Finland in early August and by all accounts it was a huge success. There were around 60 people present at peak times with around half from various parts of Finland, as well as people from Sweden, UK, Holland, Israel, Serbia, US... Numerous different sports and activities were done, for instance climbing, track and field, football, different martial arts styles, breakdance, various strength sports, swimming, hiking, circuits and so on.

There are some pictures of the event at:

Talks about the location of the next years VF week started early with Israel named as one possible location. Threads about the subject will pop up soon enough on VF.

There are a lot of activities and meetups coming up, for instance:

Vegomässan in Stockholm, and VF meetup afterwards, tomorrow (saturday)

VF sauna and activity weekend in St. Petersburg

VF Cycling meetup in the Chilterns, UK, October 4-5

Runners Worldwide Festival of Races 11-12 October 2008

Vegan Strength Gathering Germany - 21.-23. Nov '08

Boston Vegan Fitness Meetups, Saturday, November 1st (coincides with the Boston Veg*n Food Festival)

VF wouldn't be VF without all the crazy challenges out there. No matter what your sport there is a challenge which you can take part in, like:

Cycling wattage table:

Push up challenge:

50 Burpee timed challenge

Rowing Table

VF Shot Put Challenge
