I finally got around to trying out the new cheese wedges from Daiya. So far, I've had "havarti style wedge" and it's amazing. It was soft and creamy with the right amount of spice and a sharp cheese scent. I had it with crackers and it transported me back to a time when I used to consume real cheese. This is too close to the real deal. You won't find the texture as hard as the cheese used for crackers but it doesn't matter. And if you melt this sucker in a sandwich or on top of a vegan pizza pie, you'll never be the same.
Please don't take my word for it, just go out and buy some. I plan on getting three wedges the next time I go to Whole Foods.
