Yeah I've never understood why they keep "real milk" for people that want coffee? I don't really do the whole coffee/tea thing so it's never been an issue for me but they have loads of stuff saying "vegan" on the tables/walls etc. they should just say "no we don't have real milk/ceam but if you'd like to try the soya version we do have that."

It's 99% vegan, I think that is pretty damn good. All their food is vegan, and when I was there last time I heard the guy behind the counter asking his customers whether they wanted soya cream with their cake. The answer was always yes and I've not heard anyone ask for dairy cream. Maybe they do still cows milk with coffees but I've not seen it advertised anywhere. I think in the greater scheme of things I think it's pretty good. It's on Back Turner St btw, in the basement of the Buddhist Centre.

But speaking of which, why have you not even mentioned The Basement!!!????

100% vegan, yummy food, really cheap, open Tuesday till Saturday 12-6, on 24 Lever Street (that's right off Piccadilly Gardens, look for the street with the Pound shop on the corner, then go down for 2 or 3 blocks, it's on the right). Now there's something worth knowing!
