Hi everyone.
Can you recommend any carb gels which are vegan (obviously) and suitable for distance runners? I'm told that the 'SIS Go' brand are vegan. Also most of the Hammer products, but they don't seem to be readily available in England. I tried contacting Lucozade about theirs but I haven't had a response (plus Lucozade is owned by GlaxoSmithKline which is a separate discussion altogether!). Not sure about Clif Shot - have they stopped making the gels?
Cheers,
Stu.

I think most are vegan depending on the flavour. Have you looked at the high5 and USN ones?

Unfortunately most are not vegan but the SIS ones are. I'll contact the manufacturers of the ones you mention to see if they are vegan as I can't find anything online (in a quick search anyway) to suggest they are.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction mate.

Zipvit are claimed to be suitable for vegetarians, although the ingredients look vegan.

Mulebar gels look OK too, although the bars themselves have got whey powder.
