redwood reviews

Postby Asleep on a sunbeam » Fri Mar 26, 2010 1:46 am

I thought I'd make a thread for what people think of any redwood products they've got:

Thai style cakes:
can't stand, they're chickpea and all but they just, don't taste right to me.

Sausages:
Mage ready to eat ones, they're okay, not the best.

Linconshire ready to eat ones, they're lovely, I eat them fairly often.

Mage and Marjoam to be cooked ones, my absolute favourites so far, when cooked properly.

Meat free quarter pounders, not anything I'm too keen on, okay for a boast in kcals and stuff, but not great.

beanfeast pate. -to be eaten-

Only ones I can get at the super market (H&B being a bit pricey) are the Hot dogs; which have never appealed and the slices; "beef" ones are bland and crap but the sage and onion ones are quite tasty in a sammich, particularly with some vegannaise...

The bean feast is absolutely lovely on toast.

I've got pork style cookable sausages to try out. I'll cook them up after another run or something.

I like the 'beef' slices they sell in Morrisons - particularly with roast dinner (rather than in a sandwich). They work very well with gravy!

Ah, didn't think of trying that, not a bad idea...
