We are nearly at the point of finishing the line up for entertainment and talks for the fayre.
With the exeption of Pete, we don't have much involvement from vegan fitness people. So if you feel you have something to contribute in the way of talks or entertainment please feel free to step up and volunteer.
Email: info@yaoh.co.uk
Don't forget that we're still looking for resposible people to be stewards and helpers. |

We've finally got the times nailed down for the Vegan Bodybuilding events, so her are the details:
Sat 9 June
3 PM Talk
4 PM Shoulder press contest (male & female contests) Details for the shoulder press can be found here http://www.veganbodybuilding.org/shoulderpress.htm
4.30 PM Best topless male (or the vegan 'half monty'!) decide by crowd cheers!!!
All the winners get a £50 hamper packed full of vegan goodies!!!!!!!!
It also looks like the US website Vegan Bodybuilding.com will be there for the fayre (unfortunately no Robert Cheeke though ). It's still not confirmed, but if they do they'll be on a stall next to us, so you can meet everyone at once! (if that doesn't put you off!?!)
We've nothing planned for the Sunday as I'm not sure if I can make it for the second day yet, but if I do I'll bring along some grip stuff & we'll have an impromptu grip gauntlet or something & I'll dig up something little for the winner on the day. That's only if I can make it for both days mind (& that's not looking too promising at the moment).
So see you there _________________ Pete

The list for the meal is looking like exceeding the 20 places booked so will look to alter the numbers - anyone interested in going?
Only a week to go exciting! |

The fayre is shaping up nicely and we now have enough stewards to run the event.
I'm really suprised there hasn't been more talk of it here as we're expecting at least 5,000-10,000 people over the weekend. There are stands for vegan bodybuilding and fitness both UK and USA at 151 and 152. The shoulder press comp will be at 4pm on the acoustic stage on the Saturday. Plus loads more going on, check out the website for full details or PM me with questions.
I hope some of you guys will be joining us. |

yeah i guess it is because not many VF members live close by so maybe thats why there hasn't been that much talk about it? So its up to you folks to keep it hyped up
I'm afraid I cant make it personally. We (me, kryptonite v and buzz) have a strongman competition next day so it would be too much driving back and forth for it. Unlucky that they landed on the same weekend! _________________ www.vegaanikauppa.com

Hi all,
Just about to pack up for the Bristol vegan fayre. Got some T-shirts from our friends at VBB.com in the US, so we’ll be selling them for them at what I suppose we can call the Vegan Bodybuilding area (as they’ll be us VBB.org & VBB.com side by side in our own little marquee). If you’re looking for us we’ll be at stalls 151/152, so come & say hello!
Don’t forget there are a couple of other things.
3pm Talk about all aspects of training & diet in the nutrition tent
4pm shoulder press contest on the acoustic stage (prizes £50 worth of Yaoh goodies for both male & female contest winners PLUS a free veganbodybuilding.com t-shirt)
On the same stage straight after the shoulder press is a special “half montie” contest. Where all the lads get a chance to show off their chests to the adoring public, the loudest cheers gets a £50 Yaoh hamper. Tim has insisted I do my bit here , but I warn you I haven’t cut-up one bit so I look like ‘blobbo the flabby boy’ (cutting will come in 2008 for me).
Special thanks must go to Yaoh foods ( www.yaoh.co.uk ) & VBB.com ( www.veganbodybuilding.com ) for their donation of goodies for the contests.
I am going to be there on Sunday after all, & as we’ve got no events I’m going to take the opportunity to actually enjoy visiting some of the other stalls there (for a change!) as I’m usually so busy I miss out.
There will also be Pat Reeves there both days, Gareth Zeal will also be about as will our very own Rubber Ritchie. It will be wonderful to see all of you if you can make it!
Oh yea, there are some bands playing too, if you’ve no idea what’s happening have a look at www.bristoveganfayre.co.uk & take a look it is ram-packed with events, music & vegan goodies over both the Saturday & Sunday.
Right I’m off to pack now, _________________ Pete

I went to the Fayre today In fact I just got back. Its the first time I've been there and it was really good. I went with the rest of my family ( who aren't vegan ) and they really enjoyed it as well . _________________ CinnamonScones |

| The stalls were great. There was some hot totty around too, though unfortunately I was stuck on the exit gate during the men's shoulder press competition... damn. |
